Badr Benoun family, wife, children, parents, siblings

Sultan is the nick name for Moroccan professional footballer Badr Benoun, who was born on September 30, 1993, and plays as a center back for Qatar SC and the national squad of his country. He began his professional career with Raja CA.

Benoun defeated Indonesia 2-1 in the championship match to take home the gold medal at the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games.

He replaced Medhi Benatia in Morocco’s 3-0 victory over Gabon on October 7, 2017, in his country’s international debut. The match was a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

He was selected in May 2018 to be a member of Morocco’s 23-man roster for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Benoun was replaced by Achraf Bencharki on January 10, 2022, for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after sustaining an injury that would limit his participation in the event.

He was selected on November 10th, 2022, to play for Morocco in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
