Her role in ‘Snakes and Ladders’ has earned her two Gemini Awards. Born in England and raised in Montreal, Disher studied at Phillips Exeter Academy and later attended McGill University in Montreal. She then went on to graduate from the National Theatre School of Canada, one of the most prominent theatre schools in North America. Her first film role was of Catherine Collins in the sci-fi flick ‘The Vindicator,’ which was directed by Jean-Claude Lord. Disher is also an accomplished voice actress who has appeared in countless video games, cartoons, and radio dramas, such as ‘Sailor Moon,’ ‘Rolie Polie Olie,’ and ‘X-Men,’ to name a few.
