Christina Henry Barnes Dies in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Monongalia County, West Virginia

The deceased motorcyclist in Sunday’s deadly motorcycle accident in Monongalia County, West Virginia, has been named as Christina Henry Barnes of Bradenville, Pennsylvania.

Barnes, 55, perished in a multi-vehicle motorbike collision Sunday afternoon in Morgantown.

According to accounts, Barnes was driving a motorbike on Interstate 79 at 2 p.m. Sunday when the motorbike collided with a Hyundai Sonata. After that, the Hyundai left the road and overturned. Debris impacted the third vehicle that was involved.

At the site, Barnes was confirmed as deceased.

After being taken to a local hospital, the Hyundai driver was eventually released.

No other people were hurt.

Investigations into what caused the accident are still ongoing.
