Clifford Worme And Wife Jean Worme Died in a Car Crash While Test-Driving

Officials say a Florida woman was killed on Saturday during a test drive that ended in a collision with a Nissan dealership’s vehicle.

WFLA-TV reported that Clifford Worme, 86, of Davenport, along with his wife Jean, 76, and a sales representative from the Hill Nissan dealership in Winter Haven, were killed in a crash while test-driving a 2023 Nissan Rogue. This is according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

WTSP-TV stated that at around 5:42 p.m. EST, Clifford Worme drove into the path of a westbound Nissan Murano while making a left turn into the dealership.

WFLA reports that Jean Worme was killed in the crash. It was reported on TV that Clifford Worme was injured slightly in the accident, but the Nissan Murano sales rep and driver were unharmed.

WTSP said that Jean Worme had been found dead at the scene.

According to the news broadcast, everyone involved in the collision was properly restrained.

According to the sheriff’s department, they are still looking into the matter.
