Corey Jacob Howard Died In Sunday Lakeville Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash

The person killed in a deadly car accident in St. Joseph County on Sunday morning has been named as Corey Jacob Howard of Lakeville, Indiana.

In Lakeville on Sunday morning, a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of Howard, 31.

According to reports, around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, Howard was driving a pickup truck on the 65000 block of IN-65 near New Road when for an unknown reason, the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a large tree.

At the site, doctors declared Howard dead from blunt force trauma injuries.

Investigations into what caused the accident are still ongoing.
