Many Disenchantment fans took to Twitter to express their hope for a Mora, Bean relationship: “I totally ship Bean & Mora, I want to see a lot more of this in S4 #Disenchantment “. Princess Bean, who’s previously kissed Elfo, opens up to Mora during episode 6 of the new season. After getting to know each other, at the end of the episode, they kiss.
On the journey back to each character’s respective homes, Elfo drives the ship, whilst Mora and Bean, out on deck speak to one another and connect. Mora tells Bean about her former love life and at night shares with her some Mermaid Science, Astronomy and Beliefs.

Over the three seasons so far, Bean and Elfo have a close friendship. However, fans have suggested that Elfo is into Bean in a romantic way.
Disenchantment’s Princess Bean is 19 years old. We can guess that Mora would be of a similar age to Bean.
Where does Mora meet Bean?
And that’s because Mora suddenly appears to Bean, inviting her to come join her at Mermaid Island, a paradise retreat she happens to call home. Together, they meet Mora’s family and party the night away. Later on, the pair retreat to a private beach where Mora gives Bean a starfish necklace. And then they kiss.
Part of that might be down to the fact that Bean’s voice actor, Abbi Jacobson, is bisexual herself, but season two started to tease something more, flirting with the idea that Bean might be flirting with people of the same sex as her.

Mora is a mermaid and a supporting character in Disenchantment who first appeared in ” Steamland Confidential ” and was last seen in ” Last Splash “. She is the Princess of Mermaid Island, a former worker at a Steamland freak show, a former voice actress, and the love interest of Bean .

After Elfo crashes the ship onto a beach, Bean falls out and bangs her head on a stone. When she wakes up, Bean is unsure if she is awake or dreaming.
Mora is a voluptuous mermaid in her young adulthood, around Bean’s age. She has a rosy skin tone, long, wavy blue hair which covers over her bare chest and a green fish tail, she wears a belt of shells around her hips and a pearl bracelet on each of her wrists, with a light blue hairband.
Mora was born as the daughter of the Queen of Mermaid Island . Mora dreamed of becoming a famous actress and decided to travel to Steamland, the most likely place of making her dreams a reality, however she was rejected by producers for not being human enough. After this she found the opportunity to voice a few cartoon characters, at some point she became an exhibit at P.T. ‘s Freak Show, where she lived in a glass tank, becoming the only known Mermaid in human captivity. It is unknown whether she willingly decided to join the Freak Show or was taken by force (like Elfo), she seemed to accept her fate in the hands of P.T for a while.

However as Bean and Elfo are on their way to escaping Steamland, Mora unties the boat they were intending to go on named Miss Adventure and joins them on their voyage back home. How do Bean and Mora meet?

They fall asleep next to one another, and when Bean wakes in the morning Mora is gone. Elfo crashes the ship on a beach, and Bean falls and hits her head on a rock. When she wakes up, Mora is in the water and invites her to swim. Mora then leads Bean underwater to Mermaid Island. They meet up with the Mermaids in the island and attend Mora’s welcome back party together. Dagmar is Bean’s biological mother. She supposedly died 15 years ago but she was in fact turned to stone by a magic potion. Bean idolized her mother all her life, claiming that Dagmar was everything Bean wanted to be, and after Dagmar was revived, she quickly bonded with her mother over their mutual interests such as drinking.
After Bean convinced her father to let her live freely, Bean usually spends her time drinking, doing drugs and vandalism , always accompanied by Elfo and Luci, much to her father’s chagrin. Zøg tries about anything to correct his daughter’s behavior by trying things like exorcism or sending her a convent after she threw a party in the castle and tried to hide the corpses of the people kllled during the Vikings’ rampage in the chimney although she ended up getting herself kicked out of the convent and Zøg told Bean to either behave or leave the castle, leaving Bean no choice but to stay at Bunty’s home. She eventually managed to get a bit of respect from her father and to be allowed back home after she indirectly gets two serial killers murdered.

When Bean hatches a plan to escape by dressing up like Dagmar so that the Trøgs won’t stop her, Dagmar stops her. Bean tries to convince the Trøgs that she is the actual Queen Dagmar by saying to Dagmar, “If I wasn’t the real Dagmar I wouldn’t say this, I never loved you”, which leaves Dagmar speechless.
At the wedding, Bean changed her mind while standing at the altar and refused to marry the prince. Bean slapped the ring off Guysbert’s hand and he ended up with his head stuck on a sword, part of a throne made of swords, while trying to reach the ring that had rolled just under the throne.
Bean usually wears a cyan tunic with white sleeves, brown leggings and tied dark brown boots. She is equipped with a belt with a silver buckle. For her two (almost) marriages she wore her mother’s wedding dress and her hair in the same updo as her mother did on her own wedding day.
