Does Invincible End Up With Amber? – Celebrity
The Invincible TV series has taken a patient, mature approach to Mark Grayson and Amber’s romantic relationship. Although it changed the lore by pairing them up right off the bat, it worked wonders in helping to humanize Mark and keep him torn on whether or not he wants to really be a superhero.
Invincible was being choked until he manages to lift up the cyborg’s mask, which angers the creature and it throws him away. The creature looks at himself and screams in horror, killing himself. Mark rushes to William, who is in shock, but Mark asks him to calm down and leaves.
The romance between Invincible and Atom Eve in the comics takes a very long time to develop. The two don’t even kiss until issue #50. In the show, things seem to be moving faster, a major change from the comics. Once the two do come together in the comics, it’s a whirlwind affair.
End of series. The Good: Invincible #144 is a fantastic ending to such an incredible series. Saying that, Invincible #144 is by no means perfect. There are a few small story choices that will definitely leave some readers scratching their heads.
Who does Amber call in Invincible?
Amber calls Mark, who disappears and returns as Invincible, stopping the cyborg’s fatal blow. Since William was dropped, he looks up at Invincible and recognizes Mark, who simply told him to run. After that, Invincible and the cyborg started fighting for real.
As Debbie walked in with snacks, Mark smiled nervously and left. Amber was mad since Mark had left in order to help save Mount Rushmore. When Mark gets home, he runs into Nolan, who tells him to slow down. Mark explained that he had left Amber in his room while he dealt with a crisis.
William, Mark and Amber get into William’s car and leave. Amber asks William to tell her about Rick, who William is excited for her to meet. He tells her he is incredible and does not stop talking about him, which annoys Mark. At Upstate University, they greet Rick, who helps them with their bags.
Amber tells Mark that she would not share rooms with him, so Rick tells him that he could bunk with him and William. He also tells them that he would get them some beer so things cooled down a little.
He tells her he has to go and she sees him meet up with Eve. Amber approaches William and asks him if he was dating Eve and William only said he wished he was. He took it back, but asked Amber if she wanted his number and wrote it down for her. In his room, Mark looks at Amber’s phone number and calls her.
Amber watches the news, where they mention the destruction caused by the fight between Omni-Man and Invincible. They also say that there have been many lives lost as the Guardians and Atom Eve helped out. Mark’s friends visited him in order to see how he was doing.
Eve meets Amber at Beckwell Community Center, where the latter shows her around. When Eve asks if Mark was there, she is told that he had 15 minutes to be there or he would be dumped. Eve is handed an apron and is put on chopping duty. Amber and Eve pour soup for everybody, who Amber knows.
What is the message of Invincible?
Invincible sends a great message about finding one’s tribe and overall purpose, moving past the comic where it seemed like people treated significant others as crutches. And who knows, this existential conundrum might even end up working out. It’s possible Amber will realize Mark cared for her all along and just wanted her safe, even if it meant being apart.

However, in the Invincible TV series, Mark is afraid to let Amber in because if she knows his secret, she’ll be at risk. Mark not confiding in her and actually giving her space to figure out what she wants is reminiscent of Clark and Lana’s relationship in S mallville.
Mark and Amber’s conflict also allows him to determine which aspect of his identity he wants to pursue — the Viltrumite or human side. It can even create room for someone he relates to more in Eve, as she clearly has feelings for him and can connect with his identity crisis. And that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s about love triangles, drama or romantic flings; it’s actually about letting these teens find themselves before they try to be whole with someone else.
Amber has no clue he was in costume and fending off the creature, so she lashes out at him when they get back to Rick’s dorm. Amber gives him the benefit of the doubt for being secretive, buying into Eve’s excuses for him, but now she just doesn’t see a future for them.
