Dr. Ian McGuinness, MD – Huntsville, AL
I am an ACGME-trained, board-certified adult neurologist who completed a 2-year combined ACGME accredited fellowship training program in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy, finishing in 2021. My interests include neurologic inpatient and outpatient clinical care, with a focus in epilepsy, including pre-surgical and surgical evaluations, reading EEGs, medical education, value-based care, quality improvement and improving access to care for patients with neurologic diseases. I have experience in resident and medical student education, clinical trials, as well as quality improvement initiatives. I was Co-Chief Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as an Epilepsy Fellow, Chief Resident of Education at the University of Colorado Neurology Residency Program, graduated with an MD degree from Vanderbilt School of Medicine, and a BA in Zoology from Miami University.
