Death of Gary Gonsalves – Unfortunately, on September 20, 2022, the world lost Gary Gonsalves, a great horseman also known as double G. Friends and family members informed the world of his passing via social media. Many people on social media have speculated that Gary committed suicide.

I received heartbreaking news last night. Gary Gonsalves had passed away. 
I had the pleasure of working for Gary at the start of my training career. Lots of long days and lessons learned. I can’t even count the amount of 2 year olds I started for him but I will never forget the incredible horse flesh he put me on. It was actually working for him that I found my love of working with & training studs. I am so thankful.My heart goes out to Jessica, Garrett, Gentry, and Ron.John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. On this date in 2022, Robert Wayne Gary, a resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away at the age of 59. He was born in Jennings, Louisiana on March 20, 1963 to Robert Gary and Bonnie Gary. Robert participated in rodeo while attending Barbe High School. Most of his free time was spent in the great outdoors, where he hunted, fished, camped, and barbecued with the best of them. His favorite thing to do was grill out with his family.
His parents, Bob and Bonnie Welch Gary, his brother, Mark Gary and wife Donna, his sisters, Linda Drost and husband Rahn and Susan Gary Courville, and a large number of nieces, nephews, friends, and his dog, Annie all survive him, as does his devoted wife of 33 years, Beverly Ann Gary. On April 15th, 2019, he left us forever. Beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing up until the start of the service, guests will be able to view the exhibit.
