Jeremy Janecek Remembered: Jason “Jabar” Janecek’s Death

On September 23, 1985, Jason “Jabar” Janecek was born in Houston, Texas. He was the youngest of three siblings and had a loving household where he was raised. Jason was an intelligent kid who did well in school and sports. He played basketball and football when a student at Lamar High School.

Jason attended Texas State University after high school and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. During his stay at the university, he was a vibrant member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and established a lot of friends that would last a lifetime.

Those who knew Jason say his loss has left a huge hole in their lives. He was a good and giving man who made a difference in many people’s lives. Through his family, friends, and the numerous people he touched, Jason’s legacy will endure.
