Taiwanese singer Jimmy Lin was injured after his Tesla car collided with an electrical pole at a road divider in Taiwan’s Taoyuan City on Friday (Jul 22).

The car also caught fire.

Lin is a former pop star turned actor. He also races race cars.

Earlier today (July 22), Taiwanese actor Jimmy Lin’s Tesla reportedly caught fire after colliding with a signpost in Taoyuan City.

When the accident occurred, Jimmy and his six-year-old son, Jensen, were in the car.

Lin, 47, was driving at the time of the accident.

Passers-by rescued him and one of his twin sons, Jenson.

Lin sustained multiple injuries, including fractures, and is currently undergoing treatment.

According to the statement, his condition is “relatively stable.” According to reports, his son was in shock but was not seriously injured.

According to Taiwanese media, bystanders who witnessed the white Tesla crash rushed to assist Lin and his son in getting out of the vehicle.

At around 10.50 a.m., emergency services received a call for assistance, and firefighters arrived to extinguish the blaze.

Lin and his son were transported to Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.
