Missing Leticia Martinez-Cosman Found Dead, Remains Recovered

Leticia Martinez-Cosman, a missing King County woman who was last seen at a Mariners game, has reportedly been found dead, according to cops in Seattle.

According to detectives, the body was found in the Renton neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.

Since watching a Mariners game at T-Mobile Park on the evening of March 31 with Brett Michael Gitchel, 46, Leticia Martinez-Cosman, 58, has gone missing. In a bizarre twist, authorities claim that Gitchel kidnapped Patrick Cosman, a child with special needs, early on Sunday, April 2, drove him around for hours before halting the car and allegedly tried to choke him to death. Thankfully, Cosman was able to flee and get assistance before suffering significant injuries.

According to a report from Seattle ABC station KNWN, the body was discovered less than a mile from the location where Cosman managed to flee his kidnapper/assailant. According to the report, the body was discovered in a ditch by the side of the road in a cul-de-sac in an uninhabited area of Renton.

In relation to the kidnapping and assault of Cosman, Gitchel was detained on April 5 and charged with a number of offences, including first-degree attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
