Son of Mick McSweeney and Peti Rupuha dearly loved husband of Mary McLeod loving father to Jacob and Joshua. Beloved brother of Hanah Marie Butler & Max Butler, Mary Albers & Gus Alber, Kath Caton & Ken Wiley, Liz Kingi & Wiremu Kingi (dec), Bridget McSweeney & Linda, Beika Mcsweeney, Dennis McSweeney & Julie.

Cause of Death
According to Mike’s brother Dennis McSweeney’s announcement, it was revealed that he was hospitalized in the intensive care unit (ICU) just before he passed away due to an unexplained illness. We will update this page as soon as the family members disclose the precise reason for his passing.
A statement from Dennis McSweeney reads,
my big brother Mike arrived in Auckland last night from Hong Kong and now he is in ICU Auckland Hospital and things are not looking good.
Who is Mike McSweeney?
Among his many other achievements, Michael was a pioneer in the development of the BODYPUMP program. He also contributed to the development of RPM and BODYATTACK.
Tens of thousands of people who have since disseminated a fitness and healthy living philosophy around the world were trained and inspired by the man.
Michael is an excellent person in addition to that. He continues to be involved in the health and fitness industry and resides in Hong Kong with his wife Mary and two sons.
Although not all of them are as accomplished, the health and fitness sector is made up of many people like Mike McSweeney. They changed so many people’s lives and continue to do so.
