Shannon Elizabeth was born on September 7, 1973 in Houston, Texas. She took dance lessons, including tap, ballet and jazz when she was a child. After graduating, she moved to New York to pursue modeling.

She then moved to Los Angeles and took acting classes after a year. She eventually got an agent and in 1999, she landed the role of Nadia in American Pie, which became her iconic role.

Since then, she has appeared in various films such as Scary Movie, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, Thirteen Ghosts, Cursed and Night of the Demons.
