Early this morning, Vincent left this world, leaving a vacuum in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was an exceptional young guy whose presence moved many people.
Vincent invested his time and efforts in a variety of activities as a committed member of his community. His involvement in his church, where he received comfort, direction, and strength, demonstrated his dedication to his faith. Vincent’s sympathetic character inspired him to go on a mission trip to Guatemala, where he compassionately helped others in need. It was extremely motivating to see how he wanted to change the world.
Vincent embodied the principles of leadership, honesty, and service as a Boy Scout of America. He valued the chance to learn and acquire important life skills as well as the camaraderie and connections he made along the road. Vincent was committed to the group and his fellow scouts.
Vincent’s devoted mother affectionately referred to him as an “old soul” because of his kind nature and mature outlook on life. He was a beloved confidant and a comfort to many who sought his advice due to his maturity and in-depth awareness of the world around him. He was an exceptional friend and companion because of his kind heart and empathy.
Counselors will be on hand at Myers Park High School from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday through Thursday to assist fellow students who require assistance during this trying time. We can support one another and find comfort in the memories we shared with Vincent when we work together.

Despite the fact that Vincent Paul Weed’s light was put out too soon, his imprint on our hearts and compassion will live on forever.
