Ahsoka’s decision to leave the Jedi resulted in a major cliffhanger that never got truly resolved – at least not in discussing what happened to her right after. At last, Clone Wars season 7 has chosen to fill in some of her story gaps. Audiences will now know how she has spent her time since leaving the Jedi behind.
Unlike many of the Jedi we grew fond of during the Clone Wars TV series, Ahsoka did not perish during Order 66. Instead, she survived, going into hiding for a long period of time while trying to figure out what she wanted to do next to help the Rebellion. Ahsoka survived the Clone Wars for two major reasons.

How did Ahsoka survive Order 66?
Ahsoka survived Order 66 thanks to her timely removal of the chip in Rex’s brain, and she made a nail-biter of an escape from a crash that killed almost everybody else on board the ship. After burying the clone troopers who died, Ahsoka seemingly faked her own death and abandoned one of her lightsabers, which Darth Vader eventually found and kept.
In the 15 or so years following the end of The Clone Wars, Ahsoka constructed two white lightsabers for herself, symbolizing her neutrality in the Force. She also joined forces with Bail Organa and became part of the fledgling Rebellion, adopting the title of “Fulcrum” to conceal her identity.

Maul managed to survive The Clone Wars thanks to Ahsoka freeing him to cause a little chaos and create a distraction , but it backfired on her when he wrecked the hyperdrive (and therefore destroyed the ship) and then took the only shuttle on board to safety. By around ten years before the events of the original trilogy began, Maul became the head of the criminal organization Crimson Dawn.
According to Rex (who had exiled himself to a desert planet with Wolffe and Gregor at some point following The Clone Wars ), the Emperor retired the clone army because it “outserved its purpose.”. While assisting the Rebellion and the Ghost crew (including unconventional Jedi knight Kanan Jarrus and padawan Ezra Bridger), Ahsoka came to suspect that Anakin Skywalker had become Darth Vader. Darth Maul uses this opportunity to get to the shuttle before Ahsoka, and though Ahsoka uses the Force to stop the shuttle from getting away, she lets Maul go in order to save Rex. Rex eventually finds a small fighter and boards it. He flies off the ship and then intercepts Ahsoka as she is in freefall.
Later, in the last season of Star Wars Rebels, Ezra Bridger discovers Ahsoka in the “World Between Worlds.”. She finally is freed from this temporal Force prison and travels to Lothal.
After this, Ahsoka is frequently visited by owl-like alien birds called Convors in moments of great trial and adversity.
In this final episode, Ahsoka and Rex struggle to get to a shuttle that will lead them off the ship. However, the Clones trap them, leading to a violent confrontation all while the ship crashes out of space and onto the planet below.
She and Sabine Wren embark on a mission to find the missing Ezra. So the bird flying overhead is meant to represent Ahsoka’s Force spirit, essentially. I mean, it’s more complicated than that, but that’s the abridged version.
