What is the name of Greta Thunberg’s school? Where does Greta Thunberg go to school?

Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg (born 3 January 2003) is a Swedish environmental activist known for pressing world leaders to take immediate action to combat climate change.

Thunberg’s activism began when she persuaded her parents to adopt environmentally friendly lifestyle choices. In August 2018, at the age of 15, she began spending her Fridays outside the Swedish Parliament, holding a sign that read Skolstrejk för klimatet, calling for stronger climate action (School strike for climate). Thunberg first gained attention for her youth and her straightforward and blunt speaking style, both in public and to political leaders and assemblies, in which she criticizes world leaders for failing to take sufficient action to address the climate crisis.

Other students soon joined in on the protests in their own communities. They banded together to form the Fridays for Future school climate strike movement. Every week after Thunberg spoke at the 2018 United Nations Climate Change Conference, there was a student strike somewhere in the world. In 2019, there were numerous coordinated multi-city protests involving millions of students. Thunberg sailed in a yacht to North America to avoid carbon-intensive flying, where she attended the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit. Her speech, in which she exclaimed, “How dare you?” was widely publicized and incorporated into music. She speaks English fluently and conducts the majority of her public interactions in English.

Thunberg attended Franska Skolan in Stockholm before taking a sabbatical year, during which she completed remote studies. She attended there from 2010 to 2018, after which she transferred to Kringlaskolan in Södertälje. Thunberg finished ninth grade, it was revealed in 2019.
