Who is Carson Peters Berger, Lily Peters’ Alleged Murderer

A 14-year-old boy, named Carson Peters-Berger, has reportedly been identified as a suspect in the horrifying murder of Lily Peters. The juvenile has now been charged with three counts — first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault and first-degree sexual assault of a child — and if found guilty, could get life imprisonment. His bond is set at $1 million and he has also been prohibited from contacting other minors.

Peters-Berger was arrested on Tuesday, April 26, a day after the little girl’s remains were found in woodland near Chippewa Falls, northeast of Eau Claire. It has been said that the accused had first hit the victim in the stomach and beaten her with a stick before strangling her to death and then raped her. District Attorney Wade Newell said in the court: “He told law enforcement that his intention was to rape and kill the victim.”

With the accused’s arrest, details of his family members have also come out. Reports have said that  Carson Peters-Berger did not have a normal, peaceful childhood as his father Adam Berger is a convicted pedophile. Carson also had a tumultuous relationship with his mother.
The Daily Mail has cited charging documents for Carson as it reported, “10 pornographic photos showing very young girls in spread-legged positions were found on his phone. Some of them had been doctored to include comments such as ‘first in ur little girls a**hole and then in ur mouth mom’. Other pictures showed the children semi-dressed – among them one showing a girl in a green feather boa and black high heels and another girl wearing a pink tutu skirt. All of the revolting pictures focused on the children’s genitalia.”

Who is Carson Peters-Berger’s mother?

As per some reports, the teenager’s mother is Lauraine Davis. She and Carson’s father, Adam, had a brief but a disturbing relationship. In 2017, she called the police alleging Adam Berger had tried to harm her by driving his car at her.

It has been said that Davis did not have a good relationship with her son either. Peters-Berger’s grandmother has reportedly called her an ‘awful mother,’ saying: “We have seen him making the rounds with his mother and he never looks cheerful. He doesn’t grin, he’s generally tranquil and simply takes a gander at the ground and doesn’t talk.”

The grandmother also reportedly held Davis, who is the sister of Lily’s father Alex Peters, responsible for restricting his contact with Berger’s relatives.
Davis and Berger reportedly got separated when their son was just two. Davis is now dating a 50-year-old convicted fraudster John Repetto. She also lives in Chippewa Falls and has a number of “convictions for drug offenses, all dating from no less than two years before her child was conceived, and was additionally captured for homegrown battery in December 2005 following a squabble with her then-spouse John Davis.” On the day when Lily went missing, she went to her paternal aunt’s house.
